Unfortunately, I am not paneled with any insurance companies at this time. I can provide superbills that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. If you want to know more about out-of-network benefits, I encourage you to reach out to your insurance provider.

My approach to therapy blends practical strategies for personal growth. We'll tap into mindfulness and values with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), explore internal dynamics using Internal Family Systems (IFS), restructure thoughts with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Attachment Theory for understanding relationships, and consider societal influences through a Feminist Theory lens. It's a down-to-earth approach, helping you navigate life's complexities and empowering you to discover your own path to well-being.

This greatly depends on the client. Typically, I recommend 6 weekly sessions and then evaluating from there and moving to bi-weekly. On average my clients have seen me anywhere from 12-20 sessions. My philosophy is to provide you with the best and most effective care, and to make myself obsolete as soon as possible.

Absolutely!! Therapy can be a lifelong process. Lifelong meaning that you come to therapy when you need it. The idea is to take what you’ve learned in therapy and put it into practice in your day-to-day life. Situations or experiences come up where we find ourselves needing a little more support and that’s when you come to therapy.

I do not. I do like to touch base and make sure that the medications you have are working for you and doing what they’re supposed to. If you do need to find a provider for medication, I would be happy to give you a referral for a provider.

Not every therapist is a good fit and that’s 100% okay! If you decide we’re not a good fit, the best practice is to send me an email saying just that. Ultimately, I want what’s best for you and if I’m not the therapist for you, I completely understand. There’s a lot that goes into the therapy process and your relationship to your therapist is an important part of the process.

That’s okay and completely normal! My role as your therapist will be to help facilitate the conversation. Typically, I start with getting to know you more and finding what brought you to therapy. I find that from there the conversation flows easily. With time and trust being built up, you’ll forget you were ever worried about where to start!

At this time, we are 100% virtual. All sessions are held through a secured website called Simple Practice. All paperwork and sessions will be done through there. This is to accommodate busier schedules and maintain some flexibility.

Nothing! Just bring yourself as you are. To help ease into the therapy journey, I would recommend finding a quiet, comfortable place to have your session. You can also have a cozy blanket, tea, snacks, or whatever else makes you feel most comfortable. *It is worth noting that I will not conduct therapy sessions when you’re driving. If you’re in your car, you must be parked.

Currently, I do not have any evening or weekend sessions available. However, I also haven’t ruled it out yet. If you want to work with me and you need an evening or weekend session availability, please let me know and we can see about getting something worked out.
“People are just as wonderful as sunsets if you let them be. When I look at a sunset, I don’t find myself saying ‘Soften the orange a bit on the right hand corner.’ I don’t try to control a sunset. I watch with awe as it unfolds.”
— Carl Rogers
